Lay It On the Table: A Book Reading with Linda Melconian

Join Linda Melconian '70 to talk about her book, Lay it on the Table: A Change Agent in Action: When Tip O’Neill Led the House of Representatives to End the Vietnam War. In the spring of 1972, Tip O’Neill asked and answered the question that still echoes decades later: If Congress has the constitutional power to declare war, can’t it also declare to end war?  We'll hear about Linda's personal experience that led her to write the book, Rep. Tip O'Neill's battle to end the Vietnam War, and how that time in Congressional politics compares to today.  The book is available at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MVCDYMN/.
