Embark on the Holiday Season with Us

PROGRAM UPDATES

J-Term

J-Term is quickly approaching and the Club is looking for volunteers and ideas for sessions! If you are interested in hosting a session (most likely virtual, but possibly in person), please email the club at mtholyokedc@gmail.com We are additionally looking for the following types of people to host sessions:

  • Real Estate Agent: Buying 101

  • Financial Planner: Financial planning for different life stages

  • Birder or a birding organization willing to lead a tour.

Haunted Capitol Hill Walking Tour

Thank you so much to everyone who came to carve pumpkins in early October at Kat Hyatt’s house! We had a blast and we hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween.

Ever wanted to learn about D.C.’s history, but with a twist? Please come join the young alum rep on a haunted walking tour of Capitol Hill.

MHC Vespers Online

Join in for the second worldwide virtual Vespers concert, hosted by the Mount Holyoke Club of Boston.

Together with President Sonya Stephens, current student musicians and the Department of Music, the Mount Holyoke Club of Boston welcomes the Mt. Holyoke community of alums, students, parents, faculty and staff to join virtually, from their homes around the world, for one of Mount Holyoke College’s most treasured traditions.

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

A Women's College Education Pays Off

Checkout this Forbes article discussing the power of networks built at women’s colleges. According to the article, while women’s college graduates make up just 2% of the female college graduate population, these graduates comprise 20% of women in Congress, and represent 30% of a Businessweek list of rising women in corporate America. Several Mount Holyoke Alumni were interviewed.
